The total from the first five 'last update' pages amounts to 473 users. That's more than Trending. Even if there were some repeat users among different pages, you could count the other pages not displayed in the screen (>5) and it would still mean that you get more readers from appearing a lot on the home page because of your frequent updates than being on the trending list, which is not on the home page.

There are obvious concerns to what it mean to have a daily publishing schedule because it can quickly burn out new writers. In my case, what made it possible was keeping chapters very short in the first two volumes of Casual Heroing. I kept the chapter at a length of ~1k, save for every 25th chapter, which stands at two times that.
